SolTerra Communications is open for business in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of southern Ohio. Owner Jeffrey Huxmann and his wife Jessica have moved to Jessica's homeland and are enjoying the new location very much.

100% carbon neutral

SolTerra has neutralized it's carbon footprint for both its office and autos by purchasing renewable energy credits through TerraPass. TerraPass invests in renewable energy projects and offsets carbon emissions produced by its customers.

SolTerra Teams up with National Geographic
The National Geographic Society and SolTerra Communications are working together to highlight what has been called the "wildlife equivelent of putting a man on the moon." Operation Migration, along with its partners in the Whooping Crane Eastern Partnership have been teaching birds to follow ultralight aircraft in an effort to reintroduce Whooping Cranes to a flyway in eastern North America. The birds are conditioned to accept the aircraft, and costumed handlers as their parents. Having instinctual blind faith to follow their parents wherever they may go, the young birds take to the air behind aircraft and are led from Wisconsin to Florida. The journey often takes over two months.
